Webinar: Ask a Hacker
Termin 22. Oktober 2018 17:00 – 18:00
Ort Virtueller Vortragsraum
Zum Thema: How much fun we had a few years ago, when Angela Merkel called the internet "Neuland"! Remember? We all use "the internet" everyday, we hardly ever leave our smartphones further than a few centimetres away from us and we all possess and use a laptop - which would have been unthinkable about 20 years ago. We all know that "Digitalization" is the most important trend in our professional future and Social Media is so common, that we are astonished it is even a thing we have to mention. But let's be honest: do we all actually know how "the internet" actually works? And are we so mature in using all our apps that we are not in danger - for example when we use "password123" - repeatedly? Do we know how our behaviour changes knowing that we are watched by governments? And why does Facebook display things i searched for a few days ago - on a different device?
Arron "Finux" Finnon is an internationally well known Hacker from Scotland who lives in works in Germany. You might be tempted to think of a black hoodie, black screens and green code that is moving quickly, of anonymous and other scary stuff, when you think of a hacker - why don't you just check this webinar to see, if any of this is true? :-) Don't worry: joining this webinar will not mean you get hacked. Our offer: just take the chance and ask Finux why suspicious stuff on the internet is the way it is. Let him show you what hackers can do if they are malicious - and what you can do individually to make their life harder.
